Major realtor Property Brokers today starts work changing over 4000 "for sale" signs, as part of a 21st century-focused re-brand.

The company today revealed a new "fresh and punchy" new branding that managing director Tim Mordaunt says will both confirm it position as New Zealand's "nationally provincial" real estate agency, and retain its strong Hawke's Bay connection.

"We have changed our look, not who we are,"

Staying true to the previous flag logo, the new brand is a modern twist on the flag and still reflects the culture of the company.

"The Property Brokers family is 600 strong, with 43 branches across the country and will continue to expand in the provinces in years to come."

It also employs 100 people at eight Hawke's Bay locations.

"Property Brokers has a proud history in Hawke's Bay. We're the Bay's favourite real estate company and proud to be part of this outstanding region and the individual communities we serve.

"As real estate evolves in the 21st century we want to be at the leading edge of innovation and ability while still providing the provincial service we have become famous for.

"Nothing beats working with people you trust; it is an obligation we take seriously and with a new look Property Brokers plans to enhance its offering in 2018 and beyond."

More than 4000 property for sale signs are being changed this week, Mordaunt said.

Prior to the new brand, Property Brokers, established in 1986, has only ever had two logos.

"After 20 years it was time for the company to modernise our brand to ensure it reflects who we are today, to reflect how much the company has grown over the past 20 years, and to ensure the new logo works well in digital formats, social media platforms, and evolves and adapts with new technology and advertising trends moving forward.

"We are proud to be a contributor to the services of our own regions and we are truly humbled by the support we receive from our communities and we look forward to sharing our brand and more importantly, our brand values, with our local communities."

Each Property Brokers branch will be progressively re-branded over the next six months.
