The Hawke's Bay Power Consumers' Trust will hold a public hearing session on Friday to consider if there should be a change to its ownership model of electricity distributor Unison.
The hearing follows a period of public submissions submitted as part of the trust's five-yearly review process.
Trust chairwoman Diana Kirton said the review allows consumer shareholders to consider proposals and available options for the future ownership of the shares in the company.
"There has been an increased number of submissions compared to previous year, which is very pleasing to see."
A total of 10 people would speak to their submissions at the public meeting, which would take place at 10am at the Napier Conference Centre on March 9.
