Bones found at a Flaxmere property on Wednesday were determined to be from an animal.

Police investigated a resident’s report of human bones found at a residence on Montrose St about 10.50am according to a police spokeswoman.

After initial inquiries it was confirmed that the bones were determined to be from an animal.
