Police were called to Hawke's Bay Airport on Sunday over a disruptive passenger on a flight from Auckland to Napier.
Air New Zealand flight 5005 landed at Hawke's Bay Airport at 10.55am and police met the flight there, an Air NZ spokeswoman said.
The passenger, a woman, had become "disruptive"
and "failed to follow crew instructions", the spokeswoman said.
Other plane passengers were disembarked first to "minimise delay to their travel", the spokeswoman said.
