A man facing firearms and wounding charges relating to the early-morning shooting of three people outside a Napier bar has still not entered pleas to the charges.
Facing 13 charges, as well as charges relating to other incidents, the 24-year-old appeared via audio-visual link from prison today before Judge Gordon Matenga in Napier District Court.
Charges include wounding with reckless disregard for the safety of others, and wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The man has continued interim name suppression and is remanded in custody pending a next appearance in court on May 5.
The charges follow an incident outside the Thirsty Whale bar on West Quay, Ahuriri, early on the morning of February 28.
An alleged co-offender is due to appear in court again on April 23.
