A lucky Lotto ticket has been purchased at a Hawke's Bay pharmacy.

A lucky Lotto ticket has been purchased at a Hawke's Bay pharmacy.

Lady Luck has smiled on Hawke's Bay once again, as another Lotto punt paid off at the weekend.

The "Winning Wheel" lucky ticket was purchased from Andrew Spence Pharmacy on Saturday, May 30.

Pharmacy owner Andrew Spence said he was delighted that his outlet had another big winner.

"It is really fantastic, we hope the lucky winner is one of our regular players and wish them lots of enjoyment and pleasure from their winnings," Mr Spence said.

The ticket holder has won the chance to spin the "Winning Wheel" and land on a prize ranging from $100,000 to $1 million.

Although Peter Dunkerley Pharmacy unofficially claims the title of "Luckiest Lotto Shop in New Zealand" Mr Spence said he would give them a run for their money.

"We have been blessed with very good fortune ... I would consider us one of the luckiest stores in New Zealand."

The latest win caps a remarkable run of luck for the pharmacy, which has sold 10 division one, 73 division two, one Big Wednesday and four Powerball winning tickets.

In 2005, the pharmacy sold a $12 million winning ticket and a $4.2 million Big Wednesday ticket three years later.

Lotto communications adviser Kirsten Robinson said the pharmacy was still waiting for Saturday's Winning Wheel ticket holder to claim their prize.

Anyone who bought a ticket from Andrew Spence Pharmacy in Napier should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at mylotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ ticket-checker app.
