Police are hunting for the culprits in a drive-by shooting which left a car peppered with bullets in Hastings on Monday night.
In a separate incident, shots were also fired into a Bridge Pa property yesterday, by people who later fled in a car.
Detective Senior Sergeant Martin James said a family in Williams St called police about 11.45pm on Monday night, after hearing at least two gunshots being fired at their vehicle.
The car, which was parked on the street outside their house, received "extensive damage," but no one was injured in the incident.
Police investigators spent the day yesterday speaking with witnesses in an effort to piece together the motive behind the shooting and identify possible suspects.
