Police are looking for the owners of industrial equipment used in orchards, after the items were discovered during the execution of a search warrant near Hastings.
Senior Constable Tim Rowe said the Hawke's Bay Tactical Crime Unit located the industrial items during the search of a property in the greater Hastings area on June 6.
"Of note were three 'frost pots', items used in orchards for burning oil to prevent frost from settling." An industrial steam blaster was also recovered.
Mr Rowe said it is believed that these items may have been taken from a property or business, and their loss may not have been noticed.
People with any knowledge about where these tools may have came from can contact Mr Rowe at the Tactical Crime Unit or leave information with Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
