One person has been taken to hospital in a serious condition after a crash that caused a car to roll onto its roof off State Highway 2 north of Napier.
A police spokesperson said police were notified of the single-vehicle crash near Whirinaki at 2.20pm on Tuesday.
A St JohnAmbulance spokesperson said one person was transported from the scene in a serious condition to Hawke's Bay Hospital.
A police spokesperson said two people were in the car at the time of the crash.
Traffic management was called but was stood down as the car had left the road.
