Police arrested one person at a Hastings property this week as part of an investigation targeting organised crime and the distribution of illicit drugs across the Bay of Plenty and East Coast.
On Tuesday morning police descended on properties across the area as part of Operation Notus.
This was launched in October last year after the community contacted police with concerns about the social harm being caused by an organised crime group operating in the area.
More than 300 staff were involved in the operation, with search warrants executed at more than 40 properties in Kawerau, Whakatane and Opotiki.
Warrants had also been executed at two properties in Gisborne and Hastings.
