One dead following fatal crash between Norsewood and Dannevirke

One person is dead, and another taken to hospital following a crash on State Highway two yesterday.

The crash, which happened at around 10.10am, was between two motorcyclists and a car.

One of the motorcyclists died at the scene, while a second was at first reported to be in a serious condition.

One person was transferred to Palmerston North Hospital with St Johns describing the injuries as minor.

The road was closed most of the day, following the crash, however reopened at around 5pm.
