The driver of a truck that slid into a ditch after colliding with a barrier on Te Hauke Road, State Highway 2, escaped without injuries.
The truck was damaged as it came to a rest off the road about 9am, a police communications spokesperson said.
An ambulance was not required at the scene.
Traffic was free-flowing despite the crash.
