Napier's fountain foamer strikes again

The infamous fountain foamer has stuck again, creating a white fluffy mess around Manga Pacific Fountain outside Napier Aquarium.

Ontash Simeon stumbled across the mountain of foam during an early morning stroll through Napier on Thursday.

She said it came right over the footpath, and she at least had a good time playing in it, although could not speak for others.

The fountain is "foamed" on a regular basis, which Napier City Council is then responsible for cleaning up.

It had not been made aware of the situation prior to being contacted by Hawke's Bay Today.
