He estimated the stolen slabs were worth about $10,000 but added some unique pieces, one of which had already been claimed by a client, were "priceless".
"One of the pieces stolen was priceless and can't be replaced. The mine that was getting [the granite] shut down years ago."
Police were appealing to the public for any information about the theft of two granite slabs and five granite halves from Hyderabad Rd between the hours of 9.30am and 11.30am on April 24.
Bennett said his family business didn't have insurance as his workplace had been burgled too many times.
"So I've got no coverage for it and the stuff they had taken was actually an entire investment. We were trying to set up a separate company so they've cleaned that out."
He said burglaries dropped after they installed CCTV cameras a year ago and they were in the process of installing a new fence but it hadn't stopped the latest theft.
Bennett said he would be "hard pressed" to get the products back, adding previous attempts to inform police about stolen items he found online had been futile.
"I think it's sad that the police have to have everything so bureaucratically correct. They've got to have all that paperwork 100 per cent otherwise they can't do anything."
He said he was thankful for the support his family had received after his wife posted about the burglary on Facebook.
"I want to thank the community for their support. In follow-up to the post my wife did, there were lots of beautiful, positive things in there.
"That's the true beauty of it for me is that people out there are willing to support and help. As a community we don't support or tolerate this sort of stuff."
Police want to speak to the people pictured in the supplied photos in relation to the theft.
