A Mongrel Mob member facing serious drugs charges has been granted interim name suppression.
The man, in his 30s, was arrested following the discovery by Police of a substantial quantity of cash and drugs at a Flaxmere address on 11 June.
His first hearing was called in the Hastings District Court today in front of a Justice of the Peace. He faces charges of possession of methamphetamine for supply and possession of ecstasy.
He was granted suppression and was bailed to next appear in court on July 16.
In statement, police said "any form of illicit drug use in our community has a detrimental impact on individuals, their families and our communities.
