My Yule said he had produced a breakdown two or three years ago when Mr Bradshaw initially raised the issue.
In that he said he worked 49 hours a week for Hastings and 12 hours a week for LGNZ.
He said he did not believe the breakdown had changed that much between now and then.
Although Mr Yule said he had also provided information to the ombudsman upon request, Mr Bradshaw said he never had received such a breakdown.
Mr Yule said just because he was doing something for LGNZ in Wellington, he was still working for Hastings.
"I use technology to do stuff," he said.
He said he was confident about his work record, and that while he doesn't keep a log of where and how he spends his time, he has never been secretive about what he does.
However, Mr Bradshaw said as the mayor was a servant of the people he should be recording the time he spends away from Hastings in his capacity for LGNZ of CLGF.
"I am not happy that it is not recorded," he said.
Mr Yule said at the end of the day the people knew what he did.
"They make the judgment about how much time I work [and] how hard I work," he said.
"That is their judgment to make."
He noted that as mayor he gets paid about $120,000 to Mr Bradshaw's $40,000 in his capacity as a councillor.
"I would argue I would easily do three times as much work as he does if he wants to go down that path," he said.
Mr Yule's role with CLGF finishes next month and his term as LGNZ president comes to a close in July next year.
He is running for his sixth term as Hastings mayor in this year's local body elections.
