A man has been arrested after two approaches on children were made outside a Napier school within the last week.
The 27-year-old has been charged with offensive behaviour, and will appear in Hastings District Court today.
Senior Sergeant Clint Adamson of Hawke's Bay Police said they were "pleased to have been able to bring about a swift result" following the incidents. "We hope this arrest provides reassurance to parents and schools in the Napier community," Adamson said.
As the matter is now before the courts, police said they were unable to comment further.
