Local Focus: Ikaroa-Rāwhiti candidates on workplace partnerships

Workers and employers go hand-in-hand "but our workers should be paid a fair wage" says Green Party candidate Elizabeth Kerekere.

In this Local Focus video, Ikaroa-Rāwhiti candidates are asked if workers or employers are more important.

Labour candidate Meka Whaitiri says her party wishes workers are fit for purpose which is why several training policies "are geared to helping not only the worker but also the employer".

Māori Party candidate Heather Te Au-Skipworth says workers and employers are as important as each other because "both are needed".
