Press freedom limits
I have always been concerned at the seemingly unlimited freedom the press have to "publish and be damned".
Recently this has impacted [on] me greatly following the death of my grandson, Levi, and how the newspaper continues to publish information (and I know they are legally able to) without a thought for how this may be for an already distressed and grieving family (who are fully aware of the manner in which he died), without having to be reminded by repeated articles in your newspaper.
I would be seriously supportive of any political party willing to curb their unlimited freedom.
I will also be interested to see if the powers that be have the intestinal fortitude to publish this critical letter or does the freedom only belong to them.
I applaud Roger Moroney and Mark Story who at least have the courage to put their names to what they report instead of the anonymous "staff reporters" of some articles.
