With just over a week to go before analogue television signals are switched off the Going Digital roadshow has stepped up a gear with daily "ask us" sessions planned between Napier and Hastings.
Going Digital Community Advisor Murray Sawyer said over the past week he had noticed a real urgency within the community as the shutdown day grew closer.
"They want to make sure they are ready for the change.
"For some it can be as simple as buying a set-top box and hooking it up while for others it can be more technical."
Mr Sawyer said the advisers would be "out and about" across the region to ensure the message got through - that anyone without digital television reception would simply not be watching anything but "snow" after September 30.
