"It's definitely one of those iconic events of summer, we were very lucky Black Barn was part of the bill when it started out, we are always one of the first to sell out and fingers crossed that will continue."
Crowd favourites were Winery Tour first timers Supergroove whose formidable live act featuring Che Fu, covered hits such as Gotta Know, Scorpio Girls, You Freak Me, Sitting Inside My Head and Can't Get Enough.
"They were the loudest and most energetic, Anika Moa played some new music - Don McGlashan and Dave Dobbyn played each other's songs, they were really good.
"It was a great package and really well done, with a bit of rock in the middle and some sing-along hits at the end."
It was always a smooth delivery when working with slick promoters Brent Eccles and Campbell Smith, who also put on a Sol3 Mio special Christmas performance at the venue last year.
Black Barn strove to keep crowds coming back by rolling out the red carpet for guests and performers alike.
"We always want to do the best job we can do ... we want people to have an amazing time," Mr de Jager added.
Mr Smith said the formula always worked and they intended to continue bringing top Kiwi musicians to local audiences.
"When the winery tour rolls into Black Barn on a warm and clear summer's night for a sold out Hawke's Bay crowd, it's some kind of magic.
"A great line-up, a great crowd and a truly memorable show - we'll never stop playing Black Barn on the Winery Tour."
Singer Anika Moa, who has been on every tour for the past seven years, says Hawke's Bay holds a special place in her heart.
She loved the weather, wine and eateries - always stopping off at Craggy Range when she was in the area - this time she arrived early and booked in massages too.
"We love the Hawke's Bay, it's just so beautiful," she told Hawke's Bay Today.
