People will be able to watch the Vantage Hawke's Bay Festival of Hockey live via Facebook from Thursday as the business end of the tournament nears.
Hawke's Bay Sports Events and Education Consortium announced yesterday that live streaming of matches would kick off on Thursday wrapping up with the finals on Sunday.
Six games from the international Vantage Hawke's Bay Cup, 14 from the schoolgirls' Furnware Cup and the finals from the men's and women's competition at the Affiliates tournament will be streamed online through Facebook.
Festival director David Nancarrow said to receive a notification before the start of the game people should "like" the Vantage Hawke's Bay Festival of Hockey Facebook page.
"When the match starts streaming, everyone who has liked the page gets a notification in their Facebook feed and can share an update about the match in progress with your friends."
