It was a busy weekend in Hawke's Bay with a large tree planting event on Saturday and Targa Hawke's Bay throughout the weekend. On Saturday 100+ volunteers headed to Te Mata Park to help in plans to revegetate the park with native trees. The Targa Hawke's Bay road race took place on July 4 and 5 in Havelock North. Hawke's Bay Today photographer Paul Taylor captured the events.
