One of Hastings' newest councillors has announced she plans to run for re-election, saying she is not done yet.
Wendy Schollum , who entered council following a byelection in 2017, said it had been "all go" since she took her oath 18 months ago.
"I'm not new to high-paced roles, having run a technology company for 12 years and having two active children at home.
"I have taken every opportunity to not only come up to speed with plans my colleagues had put in place before I joined Council, but also to ensure I live up to the commitments I made while running for election."
She said last election she ran on a platform of diversifying Hastings' economy, providing infrastructure for growth, facilitating affordable housing, inspiring young people to settle in Hastings and providing greater transparency at Council.
