Chloe Loftus thrills festival-goers at the opening night of the fourth Harcourts Hawke's Bay Arts Festival tonight. The Spiegeltent itself was opened by Hastings Deputy Mayor Tania Kerr and Harcourts managing director Kaine Wilson as the first of 55 acts opened the 14-day festival.
Festival organiser Pitsch Leiser said the festival would have something for everyone.
"One of the biggest joys of producing a festival is to give people a taste of the unexpected and we hope audiences are prepared to push their boundaries and try something new.
"We have increased our seating capacity on a number of our larger shows to ensure there are tickets available as we open so people don't miss out this year as they have done in previous years."
