The man accused of murdering his ex-partner in Havelock North earlier this year has pleaded guilty to charges of murder and breaching a protection order.
Raymond Shane Chrisitison, 48, appeared in the Hastings District Court this morning where lawyer Tony Snell entered the pleas on his behalf.
Christison stabbed his former partner Gail Bower, with whom he had two children, on the night of June 7.
Her body was found by the former couple's teenage son.
Mr Snell asked that the summary of facts not be read to the court as it has not yet been agreed on.
