A 4-year-old Flaxmere boy brutally beaten in a family harm incident nearly two months ago remains in hospital, with police waiting on medical reports that could help them make an arrest.
Police found the boy at his home on Ramsey Cres, Flaxmere on January 29 and Detective Inspector Mike Foster said the injuries sustained by the boy were some of the worst he had seen in his 30-year career.
The boy had sustained injuries, possibly over a prolonged period, he said.
