Four Hawke's Bay incidents required rescue helicopters this weekend.
The Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter had two call-outs yesterday.
The first was to a 42-year-old man with chest pains, at Pongoroa golf course, south of Dannevirke.
Yesterday afternoon, the helicopter crew picked up a 47-year-old man who had chest and shoulder injuries after falling from a horse on a rural property near Kereru, west of Hastings.
The Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter also attended a quad bike accident, in Putere, on Saturday and transported a 49-year-old man with hip and lower back injuries to Hawke's Bay Hospital.
Yesterday, Palmerston North Rescue Helicopter attended a trail bike accident on a farm east of Dannevirke. The man was taken to Palmerston North Hospital.
