The Grey Goose Gallery in Waipawa will be closing its doors at the end of this month and will be signing out with the metal madness of Hawke's Bay sculptor, Darryl Grant's (aka Metal Morphis) re-purposed metal creations.
"Darryl has been a regular exhibitor and supporter of the Goose, and we love his work," said gallery owner, Erin Collier. "We couldn't think of a better way to finish than having Darryl showcase his talent.
"We decided recently to close the gallery for various reasons, but would like to take this opportunity to thank all our supporters."
Mr Grant's sculptures are held in collections from Asia to the United States and Australia, and he was recently selected to contribute work for The Big Egg Hunt, New Zealand, which will see his and other New Zealand artists' work exhibited around the country in a major charitable initiative supporting Starship Hospital.
In addition to showing his sculptures, he will also be manning the gallery for the next week, so will be able to talk to visitors and potential buyers about his art.
