Summer F.A.W.C! Food and Wine Classic tickets have flown out the door as excitement is already brewing for this year's festival.

F.A.W.C! fans managed to snap up 610 tickets within the first 30 minutes of sales.

The tickets were released at 9am on Monday morning and the website has since been inundated with revellers as far across the world as the United States of America, all eager to secure their tickets for summer event of 2018.

The first event to sell-out was the Friday session of "Chefs in Homes" with renowned executive chef Ashley Jones from Elephant Hill and drinks specialist, Andreas Weiss.

"Cellar Stories with Mary-Jeanne Hutchison," "Eat Napier," "The World's finest Syrah's, and New Zealand's Best," were also purchased by passionate wine and food lovers.

The summer programme was launched this week featuring over 60 events spanning 10 action-packed days in Hawke's Bay from November 2-11.

One new event which has been added to the programme is F.A.W.C! Day Out, hosted at Black Barn Vineyards.

One ticket will grant access to an all day-experience tasting the best of Hawke's Bay produce.

More than 20 Hawke's Bay wineries, a selection of craft breweries and local cideries will also be serving up their wares while local food growers and producers deliver delicious food in the Market Round to top off the day.

Event prices range from $30-$285 and include everything from lunches in secret locations to tasty street food, picnics and brunches, seafood and champagne.

Hawke's Bay Tourism general manager Annie Dundas said that she was delighted to see the early demand for this year's summer series.

"Now in its seventh year, it's clear to see that Summer F.A.W.C! has no intention of slowing down. With a stellar range of events thanks to the incredible talent in our region, it's no wonder we are seeing interest both nationally and internationally."
