A person has died after a motorcycle hit a pole near Woodville yesterday.
Emergency services were called to the scene on a property adjacent to Foley Rd, Papatawa, at about 9.30am.
A St John spokesperson said an ambulance was called to attend after a motorcycle hit a pole but was not required.
A police spokesperson said emergency services attended a sudden death involving a motorcycle and police would be continuing their investigation.
