The New Zealand Sheep Industry Awards in Napier was a "who's who" event of the farming industry and shining above them all was Hawke's Bay farmer Steve Wyn-Harris pictured with his wife Jane.
He became a joint recipient of one of the major honours at the awards last night.
The other recipient was Rangitikei sheep and cattle farmer and trailblazing breeder Roger Marshall. About 230 people attended the awards, the third such event and staged in the North Island for the first time.
