Hawke's Bay car dealership Euro City has the most satisfied Audi customers in the country according to a survey written by the German automobile manufacturer.

Euro City's general manager and Audi sales manager Dwayne Bewley was named Audi Sales Manager of the Year at the recent Audi Excellence awards in Auckland.

He has been with the company for nine years and said he was embarrassed to see only his name on the award.

"It is a good team and without them I wouldn't have won it," he said.

While Euro City topped the country for per capita Audi sales, that was not enough to win.

Results from a confidential customer survey written by Audi was a critical factor.

"Winning the award is a privilege and to know we are providing an excellent level of service is very satisfying. The win is very much a team effort, from the sales department to the service division all providing a complete package to our Hawke's Bay customers."

Euro City is moving to new premises in Prebensen Drive at the end of the month and Mr Bewley says the team is looking forward to offering customers an expanded range of both new and used vehicles across the Audi, Skoda and Volkswagen brands.

"The new building is a completely new level. There is nothing like it in Hawke's Bay, that's for sure."

The official opening is on April 27.
