The Flaxmere Licensing Trust celebrated 40 years of support yesterday by donating a state-of-the-art, LED-lit and programmable front sign to Flaxmere College.
A ceremony was held to officially "light up" the sign and thank the trust for its ongoing support.
The College kapa haka group sang and performed for supporters and trustees and then presented donors and the trust members with handmade gifts including greenstone taonga to show their gratitude.
Principal Louise Anaru said "the college is honoured and very humbled to be so strongly supported by the trust in gifting this sign to the school".
