The Dannevirke High School senior ball last Friday night was spectacular, bringing plenty of glamour to our town.

Students wearing stunning outfits, arrived in style in American cars, sports cars and big trucks, with the Year 13 class of 2015 on the back of trailers.

Some students even managed to colour co-ordinate their gowns and ties with the cars bringing them to the Town Hall.

The masquerade-themed ball attracted proud families who watched their very grown-up children arrive and to see the first dance, before it was time to leave the students to their special night. But it wasn't all dancing and photos. More than $1200 in prizes had been donated to be won during two dance competitions and at the games and activities when it was time for a break from the dancefloor.

-More photos in a future edition of the Dannevirke News.
