With more than 300 children playing JAB rugby in Dannevirke, favourable comments on attitude and behaviour are delighting the organisation's chairman.
"On Saturday mornings there is great sideline behaviour, everyone is happy and there's a great atmosphere," JAB chairman Quinney Olsen said.
"This is how it should be for kidsrugby."
Olsen said he had also had similar compliments from Hamish Bibby in Central Hawke's Bay where Dannevirke senior teams played as part of their competition.
"He's said people are commenting positively on how things are going both in Central and Dannevirke."

"We're also very lucky with our referees, with people saying they are all doing a great job. They've developed a great reputation and the input of high school students is wonderful.
"JAB rugby is awesome this season. It's a happening time."
