A car boot sale has helped revitalise Saturday's Country Carnival Market after visitor numbers and stallholders began to dwindle.
With people selling everything from books, firewood, bric-a-brac and homewares from their car boots, there is now plenty for shoppers to search through.

And what was one person's trash was definitely another's treasure, with one seller carting goods from her home to the market, only to sell to her next-door neighbour.
"This car boot sale is adding an extra interest and it's good to see," said Dave Pawson of Dave's Den, a regular market stallholder. On the Dannevirke Spinners and Weavers Club stall inside the home industries hall at the showgrounds, Jean McFarland was happy. "There's quite a bit of interest," she said.
