"We have Urzila Carlson representing South Africa, Taranaki's test cricket expert Ben Hurley.
"Jeremy Elwood will bring an intelligent side to the table so not all the gags are about genitals.
"And Josh Thomson brings some Pacific flavour."
Ego said 7 Days has been the highlight of his storied career and it's "hard to imagine anything topping it".
"It's just an excuse for a bunch of comics to sit around and talk s*** and they pay us for it!"
Ego said one of his strongest influences has been English comedian Eddie Izzard.
"I think my brain works on a similar line to his," Ego said.
Growing up, Ego envisaged his future was in the music industry.
"I was a singer in a band and all I wanted to do was be a rock star."
However it turned out Ego was far more gifted telling jokes than singing songs.
He loves to spend downtime with his boys Gabriel, 15, and Isaac, 9.
Ego said Gabriel is the performer while Isaac is the next Ronaldo.
"Gabriel is pretty funny, but I don't tell him that to his face."
The pair write jokes together which is far more up Ego's alley than running around a football field.
Ego also enjoys going to the gym twice a year.
"One of those visits is to tell them I won't be back."
Ego's trademark loud shirts have become a highlight of the show.
"When I first started stand-up my routine was quite dark and sarcastic. I thought a brightly coloured shirt would be a nice offset to that."
"Now I just enjoy the fact they annoy people. It's amazing how angry some people can get."
The 7 Days tour will start on December 9.
The crew will hit the road bringing fans a hilarious dose of comedy gags that follow all that is popular, embarrassing and shocking in the news.
To kick off the night, each comedian will grace the stage with seven minutes of jokes, before unleashing a no holds barred game of 7 Days, including Yes Minister and a game of My Audience Member Could Draw That.
The 7 Days Live Tour takes the stage on Thursday, December 10,
at Napier's Municipal Theatre.
