Five teenagers have been charged following an attack on a school bus in Havelock North yesterday.
A Nimon school bus had been carrying students from Hastings Boys' and Hastings Girls' high schools when the incident happened at about 3.45pm yesterday.
It's alleged teenagers attempted to storm the bus but were stopped only by the "hero" bus driver, who was allegedly threatened with a knife.
Police today confirmed two 15-year-old females, a 12-year-old male and 13-year-old male
were all charged with inciting violence, assault, possession of offensive weapon
A female was also charged with willful damage. They will all appear in Hastings Youth Court next week.
