The residents of a Flaxmere house were left stunned after finding their front fence obliterated. Shards of corrugated iron, tyre marks, oil and a broken wing mirror scattered the scene as the young driver fled.
Police were called to the scene off Henderson Road around 3.30pm, after it was reported a driver was doing burnouts before losing control of the vehicle, destroying the front fence of a Flaxmere house.
The tenant who wished to remain anonymous, said he heard the driver smash into the corrugated iron fence.
Before we realised what was going on, he was getting out of there."
"Lucky it hadn't been 29 minutes earlier when the kids are around, he said"
Police are making enquiries into the driver's whereabouts, no injuries have been reported.
