The Department of Conservation's Glenfalls campsite hums with locals throughout the summer who seek a camping spot alongside the Mohaka river.
As a basic campsite it humbly offers nothing more than its natural landscape.
The Mohaka river offers fishing, swimming, canoeing and rafting activities; enough to keep most campers busy.
Department of Conservation ranger Malcolm Lock said the campsite's main asset is its family friendly nature.
"It's a good family campground and a great place to take kids," he said.
