Despite further test results of the Waimarama water supply coming back clear today the Boil Water Notice remains in place.
A council spokeswoman said the notice would remain until the investigations and discussions with health officials regarding the steps required to remove this were completed.
The Boil Water Notice was activated last Friday after test results came back showing very low levels of E-Coli in the Waimarama water supply.
Work around inspections of the sites is nearing completion, as is the analysis of the operating information.
Council said it will continue to update the community regarding any changes.
