The Black Sticks have comfortably progressed to a semifinal showdown with Australia at the Hawke's Bay Festival of Hockey in Hastings.
The early territorial advantage went to the Black Sticks and they were on the scoreboard in the 9th minute when Olivia Merry found the net.
Two goals in quick succession to Sophie Cocks and Anita Punt from a penalty corner, made for a comfortable 3 - 0 scoreline at halftime.
The Black Sticks continued to dominate Korea in all facets of the game and made the match safe in the 47th minute when Sam Charlton found the net. Two goals in the dying minutes to Anita Punt and Pippa Hayward blew the scoreline out to 6 nil.
The semifinal lineup includes the much anticipated matchup between the 2015 finalists at the Hawke's Bay Festival of Hockey. The Black Sticks meet Australia in the last match of semifinal day at 6.15pm on Saturday.
