Twin sisters armed with knives and a roasting prong trashed a friend's house because one of the women had been left out of a legal-highs smoking session, a court has heard.
But the target had already fled, leaving a female boarder stunned and helpless as the intruders shredded the curtains and kicked in the walls, a jury was told in the Napier District Court.
The claims were made as sisters Rebecca Healey and Elizabeth Rangihera Healey, who will be 46 this month, went on trial with Elizabeth's partner, Kelvin Patrick Taurerewa Edmonds, 43.
At the start of the trial before Judge Bridget Mackintosh, they pleaded not guilty to a charge of aggravated burglary relating to an incident at a house in Kingsley Dr, Flaxmere, early on the night of May 5 last year.
But Rebecca Healey admitted a charge of sending threatening Facebook and text messages in the hours leading up to the incident.
