Future Thinking - Maximising the Agri Opportunity is billed as featuring presentations from thought leaders, practitioners and advisers from a broad spectrum of primary industry and related organisations.
It is billed as appealing to accountants, lawyers, farm advisers, government policy makers and agriculture and horticultural industry executives. The first speaker on Thursday is Syndex CEO Ross Verry followed by Ngati Kahungunu Iwi Inc chairman Ngahiwi Tomoana.
Topics covered in subsequent presentations include succession planning, attracting and managing investment, trusts, intellectual property, changing value chains and data management.
On Friday the opening speaker is Horticulture New Zealand chief executive Mike Chapman presenting on growing exports.
Following speakers cover topics such as global food markets, ACC service changes, the Environmental Protection Authority, health and safety, advisory boards and the kiwifruit industry's PSA recovery and global ambitions.
