Roger Greenslade
Act candidate Wairarapa
Why should people vote for you?
This election I am not asking for the electoral vote, I am standing to ask voters to give their party vote to Act, ensuring that New Zealand has post-election a stable centre-right government with Act as its key support party. Gaining as little as 3.5 per cent of the party vote will give Act 5 MPs.
What is the single most pressing need in your electorate?
The creation of more employment, which will in turn provide more opportunities for people to be better off. This can be achieved by encouraging existing businesses to expand and new businesses to set up in the Wairarapa region.
What's your top strength for this role?
I intimately know the region and I relate to the people who call the Wairarapa home. I have previously lived in Masterton for 15 years, have been a teacher at Wairarapa College, worked as a Real Estate Agent and have served on numerous committees including vice-president of the Wairarapa Services and Citizens Club.
Who's your most respected New Zealand politician (living or dead) and why?
