It's been a year full of recognition for Hawke's Bay's Sacred Hill Wines, after it was awarded gold for not one but three of its signature reds at the international Six Nations' Wine Challenge.
Sacred Hill took out gold in the Red Blends, Bordeaux Blends and Shiraz categories, after ideal growing conditions in 2014.
Its special selection Deerstalkers won double gold, while special selection Brokenstone and Helmsman won gold.
Sacred Hill founder David Mason said: "It's fantastic to see three of our premium New Zealand reds doing so well on the international stage.
"We know these are incredibly special Hawke's Bay wines and to have them acknowledged with a set of prestigious awards like this is tremendous."
