3. International Nurses Day March
Hawke's Bay nurses will be marching for safer staffing and working conditions. Please come and support them and our health system. Nurses nationwide will be rallying all supporters and marching in as many towns and cities around New Zealand as possible.

4. Floor Talk for HB Families of Deaf Children
Deaf children and their families are invited to join Curator of Art, Jess Mio, accompanied by a sign interpreter, for a tour through 100 years of Ngati Kahungunu's love affair with music, He Manu Tioriori, exhibition at the MTG. 5. NZ Craft & Design Show
This show is the region's premier craft show, with more than 60 specially selected craftspeople from Hawke's Bay and outside the region showcasing their crafts. There will be a selection of diverse, unique, high-quality crafts — everything from delicious local honey, to traditional tasty crepes and sweet treats galore, to ceramics, to one-off items such as local artists' works. 6. Jennian Homes Mother's Day 5km Fun Run/Walk
Hundreds of runners and walkers will be out raising money for the Heart Foundation for Women campaign. Heart disease is the single biggest killer of Kiwi women, claiming the lives of more than 3000 each year. The campaign aims to help stop women dying prematurely of heart disease and asks women to band together and love their hearts. Each entrant will receive a souvenir T-shirt as part of their entry fee, designed by Kiwi artist Dick Frizzell. Starts at Napier i-Site. Tomorrow, 10am to noon. 7. Mothers Lament
A special service for all mums who have lost children and for women who yearn to be a mum will be held tomorrow for Mother's Day. Everyone is welcome. Please bring a flower to release at the end of the service, in memory of your loved ones. Inquiries, ph 021 231 4371.

Mother's Day Fundraiser

This event is to raise money for the World U17 mounted games team to represent NZ in August in Belgium.
