"We've sold more than half of them already and we should be on site this year, and hopefully built out in a couple of years."
The company was established four years ago after Mr Taylor met a developer he works in partnership with, along with other overseas partners, but the ease of doing business over the internet meant he could do all the designing from Napier.
"So there's myself in New Zealand, a structural engineer in the Cayman islands, and consultants in Miami. There is another architecture firm based in the Caribbean, so we're kind of bringing people in from all over the show but nowadays architecture in 3D form, so it's all on the Internet."
Alongside the Cayman work, the company was also designing houses in Hawke's Bay and around the North Island.
"In New Zealand we're doing a lot of coastal baches. People are really wanting that sort bachy feel from yesteryear but still clean and modern.
"We have projects in Havelock and on the hill in Bayview and we have potential projects in Wellington as well."
A recent development at Waimarama had been tailored to suit a couple from Hong Kong.
"We did that over the phone and skyping."
Mr Taylor said Hawke's Bay-based clients were from a mixture of backgrounds.
"I'd say a third are international, one third are locals and then we have another third from Wellington and Auckland.
"The market is really busy, there's plenty of work out there and the builders are very busy and so are the trades. It's a good time to be designing and building houses."
Hawke's Bay was also a great place to design houses.
"I came here from the Cayman Islands, before that I was in Auckland. We just moved here because of the weather - like the Caymans it's got a small population and great weather.
"Hawke's Bay has incredible landscape and then you have the light, and how it comes across the land. So it's really cool to have the opportunity to work on some of those sites."
