Doing it the Weber way was central to the 125th celebrations at the school last weekend.
And while there has been enormous change in the past 25 years at the school, principal Janine Satchwell said the school remains a very special place.
"Our school is incredibly fortunate to be supported by a community of can-do people who model hard work and high expectations," she said.
"Former principal Chrissy Beetham set standards and a platform I've been fortunate to follow on from."Weber School has 58 students and Satchwell said the example the community sets is what they emulate.
Tararua District mayor Tracey Collis emphasised the value of local schools, which are a vital hub in the community.
"Sharing the Weber way is something to be truly proud of," she said. "There is a pride in community and a dedication to make this school great."
